Requirements for the Annual Scholarship
The deadline for scholarship entries is March 31st, with the scholarship being awarded in April. The recipient of the scholarship should plan to start flight training over summer break. The winner is chosen based on his or her academic excellence, community involvement, and an aptitude for success in a rigorous aviation program.

- Be a US Citizen, with the ability to read and write in English
- Be a sophomore or junior in high school, and at least 16 years of age
- Must have parent or guardian approval, parent or guardian will need to sign application.
- Applicant must provide a minimum of three recommendation letters from a teacher, employer, or community leader.
Recommendation letters should not come from family members. - A minimum of 3.0 overall GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale. An official transcript should be submitted with the application.
- A 350 -500 word essay demonstrating a love of aviation and a commitment to flight training.
- Must be able to pass a third class medical exam.
- Extracurricular involvement/community involvement will be considered.
